Thread Lift

What is it?
A thread lift is a minimally invasive procedure that uses dissolvable sutures to lift and tighten sagging skin on the face and neck.

About Thread Lift

Thread lifts provide a non-surgical facelift by inserting special threads under the skin to lift and tighten facial tissues. This procedure is often chosen by people who want a subtle, natural-looking lift without undergoing surgery. The threads used in the procedure are made of absorbable materials like polydioxanone (PDO), which stimulate collagen production as they dissolve. The results are immediate, and over time, the body’s healing response boosts collagen to further improve skin firmness and elasticity. It is commonly used on the jawline, cheeks, eyebrows, and neck.

How it Works

The surgeon assesses the degree of skin sagging and discusses expectations.
Thin threads with tiny barbs are inserted into the skin using a needle or cannula. These threads are then pulled to lift the skin, and the barbs anchor the threads in place.
There may be mild swelling or bruising for a few days. Results are visible immediately, and full results improve over the next 2-3 months.
Results last 1-3 years as the threads gradually dissolve, with collagen providing long-term support.
